About the Role
The Program Staff Assistant supports the delivery of interactive STEM and innovation programming, assist with setup, participant engagement, and daily operations. Ideal for individuals passionate about technology, learning, and community service.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in setting up and facilitating hands-on labs, VR simulations, robotics, and 3D printing activities.
• Supervise and support youth and adult learners in program spaces.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance standards.
• Assist with registration, data entry, and event check-ins.
• Help promote center activities at community events.
• Provide feedback and ideas to improve programming and engagement.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
Experience working with youth or community programs.
Interest in science, technology, engineering, arts, or math (STEAM).
Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
