P.E.P (Prayer, Exercise, Praise)

PEP1

Coming together acknowledging that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that is within us, and we received this from God. We are not our own. We were bought with a price. Therefore honor God with your body.  ( 1 Cor. 6:19)

PRAYER
is prayer before we exercise because we know the flesh is weak and has no desire to do what is right. When I want to do good evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law, but I see another law at work in the members of my body waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Christ Jesus our Lord! (Romans 7:21-25)– I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)

EXERCISE
for fun, fitness, and for health. The best way to lose weight is to decrease your food intake while increasing your physical activity. This can lessen the risk of heart disease, heart attack and high blood pressure.



PRAISE
Philippians 3:18-21 says, For as I (Paul) have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many love as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, and their god is their stomach, their glory is in the shame. Their mind is on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. Who by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control will transform our lowly bodies so that we will be like His glorious body.
