Word of God Church and Ministries Southeast serves as a host site for Angel Food Ministries. Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing food relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 44 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.

Evangelism Ministry

The Word Of God Evangelism Team is dedicated to recruit, train, motivate, and mobilize laborers for a great spiritual harvest.

The need for laborers for the spiritual fields of the world is greater than ever as we near the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Jesus said “The harvest is truly plenteous, but the laborers are few” (Matthew 9:37)

The only way this great spiritual harvest will be reaped is for each born-again believer to become a reproducing Christian...a harvester.

The Evangelism Team Ministry is broken down into the following teams:  

Administrative Team:  This team’s function is two-fold- Discipleship and Administrative.

• DISCIPLESHIP - It serves as a bridge between the community and the church to ensure souls are not lost after the initial contact is made. We follow up with contacts through phone calls, postcards, possible visits and prayer.
• ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM - Maintains databases, records, calendars and team ministry records.

Spiritual Reconnaissance Team:  This team gathers information about the neighborhoods targeted for evangelism and reports back to the Ministry Leader. They have the responsibility of checking the neighborhood to discern the spiritual climate to see what strongholds exist.

Team Captains:  mobilizes their teams and prepares them for street evangelism.

VICTORY (Overcoming Addictions)

VICTORY is our Addiction Overcomers Ministry. One of the main focuses of VICTORY is to develop believers into spiritually mature saints by ministering to them on their road to recovery. VICTORY is designed for anyone who has experienced sinful hurts, hang-ups and/or habits. Persistent temptations must be team-tackled through community. The goal for all who attend the classes is to experience life as an overcomer and the freedom that manifests when you allow Jesus to be Lord in every area of your life. Because of sin, each of us needs repentance and recovery in order to live the way God intended. So no matter what situation you find yourself in and regardless of what you need help with, God wants to help you.
