Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of age.” Matthew 28:18-20

The College Ministry serves the church and community, in effort to see the advancement of God’s Kingdom here on earth. We desire to see “God’s will be done as it is in Heaven”, as it states in Mathew 6:10. This ministry focuses on accomplishing the following three goals in order to achieve this.

Developing spiritually mature saints who are in college, who will spread the Gospel of Christ to others in effort to win souls for God’s Kingdom. (Mathew 28:18-20)

Provide a foundation that will contribute to the development of men and women who attend college, while establishing a body of true worshippers who live a life of holiness. (Galatians 5:16-18; Romans 12:2)
Unite with other ministries in effort to transfer the knowledge of Christ to all generations through serving in the church and community. (James 1:22-24; Philippians 2:1-11)

At the current moment the ministry is a developing student organization at the University of South Carolina but The Word of God College Ministry will serve all college campuses in the Columbia area. Our meeting dates and locations are changing for this upcoming fall semester. All current college students, college graduates, or any person with a heart for this ministry are welcome to attend our meetings once the dates, times and location have been determined.
